- The product category benefits from several of the key societal trends
- The category size is sufficiently large (>$500 MM) to provide growth opportunities
- The market share structure of the category represents an attractive scenario with the #1 brand share at The selected company or business is not marketing intensive, but rather focuses primarily on private label and/or foodservice business
- Company gross margins are 40-50%, or can reach that range within 1 year
- Existing capacity is sufficient to support at least two to three years of growth
